Work Experience
All Year 10 pupils will take part in work experience in the summer term. All pupils are encouraged to investigate opportunities in local companies that will allow them to explore their ideas for their future career plans. It is hoped that work experience will give them a valuable insight into the world of work and help them to start to develop the skills they will need Post-16.
In order to prepare for their work experience all pupils will be given bespoke advice in their careers lessons and with our careers adviser. This will include support to identify their interests and ideas and time to look at possible opportunities that would suit them near to their home.
