Parents & Carers
Parents and Carers are encouraged to take their children to open days/evenings for any colleges or 6th forms that their children are thinking about attending. A list of these will be sent to parents and carers early in the autumn term to help you decide which you would like to visit.
In the Autumn Term of Year 11 parents and carers will need to support their child to complete final applications for their Post 16 provision. Much of the preparation for this will be completed in careers lessons.
As a parent /carer you play a vital role in supporting our careers program, together we can support your son or daughter on their future career path. We are keen to work with you to develop the employability skills and qualities to set our young people up for life, we need to give your child the tools that they need to succeed in whichever walk of life that they wish to follow.
If you would like to contribute to the careers programme we would love to hear from you, please contact Miss Cadman on rcadman@castleeastschool.co.uk
